Someone needs t0 point out to these people such bandwidth is only permitted at 29 MHz FM and not anywhere else. I will look up the rules (to make sure I am not out of date and I am correct...) and read them the riot act when I get home

Hi AL

Have used the C4FM on HF; 10M; 20M; 40M & 80M. Best results were on 10M to VK4 on 29.600MHz followed by 20M to ZL. 40M and 80M local VK5 but required the signals to be up over S7 to S9 otherwise a lot of Packet loss is suffered on HF.... Was able to work Matt VK5ZX on both 6M C4FM and on 40M where as Barry VK5KBJ was on 80M. The 6M path was good on C4FM but lousy on Analogue. Both Matt and myself were on Vertical antennas at the time  as I don’t have a Six Meter Beam at the moment. On 40Metersand 80m I used a Bushcomm 3 Wire dipole. Distance to both Matt and Barry is 60K. The 10M and 20M I used both the Bushcomm and the GAP Challenger Vertical; results were about the same....5/8 to 5/9+. Even though DN was used the audio bandwidth is 12.5Kc where “D” Star is narrower it uses less band width on the HF Band; hence 10M was less of a issue on 29.600MHz as this portion is dedicated to FM.....

*/Moving forward to a Digital Future with C4FM....../*

/Cheers/

Anything may work, but how well? And, with what codec?
