Hi Alan,

HF would definitely be interesting, but right now I'm focused on
VHF/UHF. My understanding of the GD77 family is that the modulation
(DMR, two slots per channel) is in hardware, so the best we can do is
drop in a different CODEC, but we could have to use the same data rate
and RF modulation.
