Hi Al, FreeDV now supports PulseAudio and in my experience at least, seems to work well with pipewire-pulse. (I know there have been device mapping issues reported but I think those are issues in pipewire itself or with specific distros.) However, if there are any pipewire specific things that would be useful enough to where specific support for pipewire should be added, please let us know.
