Hi Maarten,

It doesn't look like that's currently used (the vrom_* functions called by
sm1000_main.c appear to use the EEPROM internal to the STM32 per comments
in https://github.com/drowe67/codec2/blob/master/stm32/src/stm32f4_vrom.c).
I'm not sure if we have any plans for it but we're open to suggestions for
sure.
