I just had my first two contacts on RADE. I must saythat it is as good as others have reported. I had toexperience it myself. In my estimation, RADE is as good as any FM or DMR contact I have had in the past. I am very impressed. Interestingly, even with weak signals and little deflectionon the S-meter or discernable signal, RADE hung in there with perfect audio. It also seems to be resistant to nearby interfering signals. The latter seems to be a regular issue on the FreeDV frequencies. Some of it is undoubtedly malicious and intentional. They have to attack that which they do not understand. But RADE kept on working without any drops. Congratulations to the development team. I hope this modewill become the gold standard. I look forward to working others in the future.
