I think it's been discussed before but I was wondering what the reasoning
behind separating the structural data as text files and the actual store
data into the database was.

The reason I ask is that as more screens/pages are added to a site the
screen_info data file becomes somewhat overloaded. Also, it occured to me
that putting the screen info, plus any added info e.g. background info,
which language used, secure yes/no, etc., into the database could enable
easy creation of a pretty powerful per-screen template sytem controllable
via the admin section.

Just asking before I jump in and make the change and discover later the
error of doing so...
