OK, I should have read through all the messages, so my last one is
unnecessary.
I was right that the database was incomplete, I guess.  But can you explain
what you did with the build.sql script?  Did you download it to a Mac
desktop
first?  If it got translated into Mac format (CR's only), then that might
make
MySQL do funny things.  The build.sql script should have linefeeds only
(UNIX format).  When I view it in vi it looks OK.
