Hi
I am plannig to set up a secure server and by
a Verisign sertificate. And I would like to
make us of that sertificate for all my customers.
Is it possible to have all transaktive actions
(Those screens running under https) run on a seperat url; the same as that
sertificate is for. That is: Costomer A and Customer B have domainname of there
own, but when prossesing payment, they use ISP domain, which is provided
with a verisign sertificate.
***Maybe using the old webservingstyle in
Apache, like: www:ISPsecuredomainname.com/~username/
That is allready sett up in Apache, and is a
natrual secund path to htdocs already. Also the customers url will be a sub path
of verisigned domainname. Ant that shuld keep the browsers silent.
Will IE or Mozilla be happy whith this?
Can FreeTrafe do it, or will it need a user
customization? Since preset pahts seams to work fine, can we add to the
list saying :secure socket is /secureserver.com/~username/freetrade.php. Its the
same path, but set diffrently- must be possible?
Having customers just switch to the real hostname
of server as the user thay allready are, shuld be a easy and good
way?
