Actually, add this:
//get item functions
include(APPLICATION_ROOT . "/modules/include/item_functions");
//get item info
$Item = GetItemInfo($item);
I think I introduced when I took out the code in index.php3 that got the
item info for any page if the item variable was set. I'm about to commit it
to CVS.
