First of all, let me say that Freetrade is a great software package! I
can't believe how fast I got it up and running, with no big problems!
Now my question, with some background. I am doing a website for a
Needlework shop. One particular design is sold both as just a leaflet and
also as a kit. I have a "Patterns" dept, and within the dept I have two
sub-depts "Kits" and "Leaflets". I have one item with two SKUs: one that
is a leaflet and one that is a kit. The item is in both the "Kits" and
"Leaflets" departments.
Now, if I want to put a 10% sale on just the "Kits" department, both SKUs
of the item are being discounted.
Is my Item-to-SKUs logic flawed, or is this just a side effect of the
software? Any suggestions? Should I just make two items instead? I know
my client will want to put sales on *just* leaflets or *just* kits...
Thanks!
