While I was working on adyen.com. I encountered a strange problem. Not
sure what the root cause. I remembered changing my system clock 4 hours
prior, which may have been the root cause. I was alerted by a person that
he/she was not able to maintain his session id. It keeps changing session
id and he wasn't able to post ad.
The problem ONLY occured in IE. I tried it in Netscape, it worked
perfectly, users were able to get his session id and maintain it.
Anyone has any insights as to why this occur.
Another interesting thing is I turned on "prompt for cookies". IE only
recognize cookies name "sid" from my site and prompt me if i want to
accept it but it won't recognize "TestCookie" with value "Test". I
wasn't prompt if I wish to accept "TestCookie" cookie or not. On the other
hand, Netscape recognize them both.
I tried to debug the problem for nearly 8 hours. I came up empty handed.
All suggestions are much appreciated,
