Yeah, the problems with missing checks for SHOPPER_MUST_REGISTER are bugs.
I'll try to get to them this week. What would help is if you did a
"grep -lR SHOPPER_MUST_REGISTER".
You mentioned that seeing invoice numbers with gaps is bothersome, so I feel
compelled to tell you that this will continue to happen even after
unregistered shoppers are locked out. That's because someone can create an
invoice, but abandon it before it becomes active. They also might come back
a week later and complete the invoice. That might be really be scary, I
guess.
