We'll try to answer you questions. One way you can contribute to
the project is to help out with documentation. I'm trying to
encourage people to put the information up in <freetrade.faqts.com>.
You know, you can both create a question and an answer all at once.

Coupons aren't tied to an item. They can require a minimum invoice total,
and then they give a discount in dollars or percentage. You give them a
code, like TENOFF. To let customers know about them, you'll have to tell
them with email, or something similar.

There's code in the action modules that's only applying tax if the buyer is
in the US. You'll have to swap that with Canada. We probably ought to
make this a setting. Anyway, for now, you'll have to find it yourself.
