Leon, o knower of all things PHP :), did PHP3 allow this kind of
configuration stuff to be overriden in .htaccess files?  I wouldn't be
surprised if it didn't.  Christie, you should probably check out
<http://www.php.net/manual/function.set-magic-quotes-runtime.php> as it
may satisfy your needs.
