Please forgive my stupid question, but, you are able to get frames to
work without using FreeTrade, right? Once you get Frames working
without FreeTrade, then getting them to work with FreeTrade is much
simpler. I think the primary thing you're probably having a problem
with is that index.php3 and the layout module you're using is probably
outputing a <body> tag in your frameset screen. You'll just have to
keep working with FreeTrade until it outputs the same thing that your
flat files that you did earlier do (i.e. when you do the frameset by
hand). I must admit however, FreeTrade wasn't really designed with
frames in mind. Most of us hate here hate frames. If your main problem
is that you want to have some external content shown within your
navigation, I'd probably make a hit on the external content from within
the screen module, and simply pass it through. This way, you don't have
to do frames.
