Trying to help, correct me list!
The SKU exist only to join one kind of item wich have a particular
difference. Example:
I can have a t-shirt with different sizes so i have an item with a lot
of SKUs
Other: You can have a pizza item, and different kinds of pizza like
muzzarela, 4-formaggi, chicken... as SKU. It helped?

SKU stands for "Stock Keeping Unit". It's a common term among
retailers. for specifying a particular variation of a item.
