In fact, I frequently do "Save As" then edit the saved HTML and put
<BASE HREF="the.url.I.was.viewing"> at the top of the <HEAD> section.
Then I can open the local file in my browser and debug the HTML any
way I want, by simplifying it or by turning on borders, getting rid of
WIDTH= etc. I usually just take things out that I think shouldn't make
a difference until I find something that does make a difference that
shouldn't.
