The way I'd track this down is to put a lot of HTML comments in each of the
modules.
Like:
print("\n<!-- starting my_nav_module -->\n");
Then view source on the page and try to pick through it. It may help to
comment out
the lines that are including the nav modules and just see if the layout
works without
them. Then you can add them back in one by one.
