You are selling subscriptions right?
If so, you need to record when the sale was made, how long the subscription
period is for and run a script (as a cronjob) which checks who is due and
mails them a reminder. It could be done as a php script which checks each
time the shop is accessed, but that seems clumsy to me, so a Perl script
would be better
