Hi, So, this is not something new, fcrozat already raised this after 2.2.1 was release, but since this has not improved in 2.3.0, I'm reposing.
There is a Fedora bug about this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=198082 The interesting shots are: before: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=145894 after: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=145897 None and medium (in gnome-font-properties speak) settings are fine and render identically before and after. Not for slight. Note that there is a chance that the after shot is using TrueType Luxi while the before is using Type1 Luxi, but I don't think that really matters much, since the other hinting modes match in rendering.
