I can afford time, fortunately, so please check whether everything is
in shape, and I'll do a release in a few days.
It seems that you have some spare time right now -- may I ask that you
walk over the open Savannah bug reports? There are some nasty
problems in the autohinter which you might fix far quicker than me.

Yes. Have a look at the docs/release file. Note that it isn't
completely up to date w.r.t. installing the documentation files on
sourceforge.net -- if you want to do `scp', you first have to create a
temporary shell on sf.net. The preferred way is rsync, I believe, but
I haven't tried that yet.
