A log file is not a good place. A `credits.txt' file is OK, but is
this part of your documentation? Even better would be a link which
shows the licenses used in your product -- you are certainly using a
license for your program, don't you? In case your program has a GUI,
a `licenses' menu near the `about' menu entry would be a possibility
also.
Just take your iPhone or Android and look how Apple and Google have
solved it :-)
