For those errors which are rasterization errors - i.e. actual pixels being drawn/not-drawn the "right" way - would v38 be closer to how MS windows does things?
For the fonts in v38's whitelist like Arial, yes. For everything else, the difference should be next to nothing, save maybe for spacing differences due to that hdmx table or whatsitcalled.
