I don't care.  The main idea is that a user should easily find the copyright 
notice and – probably more important – the link to freetype.org.  For example, 
if you have a non-internet product that comes with a written manual, somewhere 
a link to freetype.org should be printed.

Both are fine.  In case you have a separate license page for all your 
libraries, I think item 2 is slightly preferable (still giving a link to 
freetype.org).
