Hi, I have managed to make the whole thing into one binary, FontVal-2.1.1-py-ubuntu-14.04-x64.tgz ( and the gpg signature FontVal-2.1.1-py-ubuntu-14.04-x64.tgz.sig ) https://sourceforge.net/projects/hp-pxl-jetready/files/Microsoft%20Font%20Validator/misc/
A typical usage for the full test is ./FontValidator-ubuntu-14.04-x64 -file <fontfile> +raster-tests -all-tables -stdout ./FontValidator-ubuntu-14.04-x64 on its own gives a usage summary. As the name implies, it targets Ubuntu 14.04, but it does work on fedora 26 and perhaps most recent 64-bit linux too. as Ubuntu ships "gcc (Ubuntu 4.8.4-2ubuntu1~14.04.3) 4.8.4", a very small part of the full tests is missing at the moment. ( see https://github.com/HinTak/Font-Validator/blob/master/Release-Notes ) This affects some very pathologically broken and visibly broken fonts so far only seen from being artificially created by Google's oss-fuzz, so for most normal usage people won't not notice it is missing. Unless I hear anything bad about it or the mac os x binaries, I shall tag for 2.1.1. -------------------------------------------- On Mon, 28/8/17, Hin-Tak Leung <[email protected]> wrote: Subject: Re: [ft-devel] call for mac FontVal testers.
