Folks,
Debbie Goldsmith contributed code to render fonts with 'hvgl' tables
using Apple's HVF library – thanks, Debbie! I've added it to the
'HVF' branch in the git repository so that interested people can test
it.
Debbie writes:
libhvf is available on macOS 15.4/iOS 18.4 and later, so as long as
your Sequoia install is reasonably up to date it should work. It is
not available on macOS 15.3/iOS 18.3 or earlier. It is also
available on the corresponding versions of watchOS/tvOS/visionOS.
Yes, both Intel and Apple Silicon are supported, though I have not
tested my patch on Intel.
