You should not *free* it however with FT_Done_Outline, because its pointers might point to arrays owned by a distinct object (e.g. FT_GlyphLoader objects) As for slot->bitmap, you shouldn't do anything with them, except read them, since its buffer address can point to a memory-mapped file directly.
