While it probably doesn't matter in this case, it's worth noting that jpeg is a lossy format, poorly suited to representing text - especially when talking about loss of quality. It would be worth using .png format for such examples in future as it's lossless - that way ringing effects (that can look like dropout and/or problems with anti-aliasing) can be avoided.
