I don't have a X font server (xfs) running on my system (xfs was removed
from Mandriva and Mandriva-forked distros years ago).

FYI I also compiled my own fontconfig, using the latest version (in case
it would have been a fontconfig bug in PCLInuxOS's older version), to no
avail.

So far, I just cannot explain why freetype v2.7 is not working properly
with PCF fonts in my system... I guess I'd have to diff the v2.6.5 and
v2.7.1 releases and see what changed that could explain this issue...
But I don't have time to do so, so I just reverted to v2.6.5 and will
stick with it forever (or till someone else fixes the bug), I guess...
