This would be the “height” in the Size_Metrics fields. Bear in mind this may be less than the ascender + descender. It is a value chosen by the font designer for optimum line spacing. It is quite common to adjust this value when laying out text, e.g. use a bigger value for “loose leading”, or a smaller one for “tight leading”. It depends on the effect you want to achieve.
