Hello Freevo developers. I have made a small hack to Mplayer that basicly enables live-tv. It does nothing fancy like transparent fading menu's and the like, but it does have the following:
- No fixed-sized buffer, so you can skip back as much as your harddrive is big - Near-instant channel switching, allmost as fast as the tuner can tune - As fast as MPlayer - tested and developed on a Celeron 333Mhz - Same software requirements as MPlayer - No Harddisc space (or speed) needed for channel-browsing Does this sound interesting to you? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
