I think too much was changed, the only significant change that I can see is:
-self.eventhandler_plugins = plugin.get('daemon_eventhandler')
+self.eventhandler_plugins = plugin.get('daemon_handle')
So I've fixed this in svn at r10611.
I also affected the buttonbar, which I had noticed but hadn't had time
to investigate.
