Have you set?
LOGGING = logging.DEBUG
LOGGING_RECORDSERVER = logging.DEBUG
Do check it in and you could change the WARNING to an ERROR or perhaps
restrict the exception handler not to be a catch all.
Nice to have a bug report for this on the tracker too.
