Since we had been "guessing" the stop times for North American listing by assuming they ended at midnight, to work around the Zap2it changes, I decided to try to come up with a more elegant solution by processing the XMLTV guide before Freevo gets it.
Well, I was checking the xmltv mailing list, and it turns out, a tool to extrapolate the missing stop times already exists, and this command will give you a schedule with proper end times (provided you've grabbed the next days listings as well) /usr/bin/tv_grab_na --retry-delay 60 --retry-limit 3 --days=2 | \ tv_sort > TV.xml The tv_sort utility corrects the stop times, and solves this problem. If people using the NA guide could move to it, you won't have the strange gaps between shows beginning before midnight and ending afterwards.
