Oh, I did it somewhat differently; but I can change it if I did it the "wrong" way. However, the other issue I had was that I added a submenu for playing the subitems of an XML file, so I want to be able to specify the filename to play. I haven't tried with DVDs because I don't have a rom drive; I don't know how exact it'll be because it's really up to mplayer to jump to the right spot.
