You're definitely the GUI expert, but if you could help me with a small request, either you could do it or at least point me in the right direction.
No problem.
For "wait" indicators, I'd like a /round/ progress bar, kind of like this: http://mythtv.sourceforge.net/mc/mweather0.png
Just the round indicator part, basically, a slightly angled circle with the rays from the centre to the outside with increasing color saturation.
I have the guts of a ProgressBar class hashed out on a pile of scrap paper on my desk at home. ;) I will go ahead and impliment it as soon as I get a chance. I will also think of how to incorporate different styles, horizontal / round while I am at it.
If you can't do this, just let me know what's involved. I could read gui but I figure you might have some advice before I start.
I will get a class for this into CVS, which probably won't be really pretty but perhaps you could help with that part. Drawing a circular progress meter will be easy (we'll do that as a first step), then we can work on the oval and fading colour part.
