Well that was surprisingly easy - just goes to show how good a job you guys have done. I have a prototype for Tivo->Freevo streaming that includes the: * vserver to install on a Tivo * mplayer patches to support the streaming server * A Simple program to query the Tivo 'Now Showing' directory and write out the required xml entries into a target directory. >From there Freevo happily streams video off the Tivo. No core coding required for this level of integration. The query/xml generation can be run from cron for now. I'll package it up if anybody is interested. The prototype is currently C and Perl and (may) be recoded into Python. I'll also look at writing up a simple howto for this beta code. Who should I send it to ? Cheers Jason. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: INetU Attention Web Developers & Consultants: Become An INetU Hosting Partner.
