I'm not exactly partial to 4 version numbers, I just think we spend
so much time in "pre" releases that people will always be running
really old versions that are difficult to support.

I can't count the number of times I've said "It's fixed in preX or in
CVS" and I can't fault a user for wanting the stable release.

I definitely link everything post 1.3.2 is a big change, but I think
1.4 should wait for your record_server...
