We want 2 things: I want to be able to get information about music, video, image, video game being played, so I can use it in lcd plugin. This should be useful for other purposes, like a idle bar to inform the music status (name, elapsed time) that was detached, maybe other use? Mikeruele, I and others want to be able to intercept events so we can implement DirecTV and other external channel changer.
