Dischi, ok i will have a look at tvtime and see if i can change it similar to the way you changed mplayer. Would this be a good time to integrate my tvtime changes to tuning? There are a few things I think i need to fix before a release and then a couple nice to haves.
have to fix: - fullscreen doesn't always seem to work for everybody (people using -fs have complained but i use fs and haven't seen the wrong param get sent ) and i think it might even be broken for fb users. It uses the osd.get_fullscreen which i think only looks for a config variable being set. nice to have: - support skipping over channels if they are inactive by settings in the TV_CHANNELS directive. - merge stationlist.xml data rather than overriding it if the file already exists. this is for people who use tvtime by itself in addition to with freevo. but all in all it has a better sync of channel information between freevo and tvtime as well as supporting custom frequencies for tv viewing using the FREQUENCY_TABLE config variable. it should also better cope with the different alpha numeric channel names used in europe and other places. a working copy exists in my WIP if you want to look at the code. -- Mike Ruelle [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://world.std.com/~mruelle/ On Fri, 2003-09-19 at 18:26, Dirk Meyer wrote: > Hi, > > I moved all the Thread handling from the two mplayer and two xine > plugins into childapp. This avoids duplicate code about how to start > the app, read the output and send to it.
