Ok, I've got it happening consistently now. If you play one track and let it continue to the next, it always cuts off after between 8 and 10 seconds and skips to the next, which plays in it's entirety, the next one cuts off and so on.
I can't figure out why the 'exit' command is being sent to the app arbitrarily. This is a show-stopper bug in my mind, since it makes the music player completely unusable for anything other than playing a single track. Aubin ----- Forwarded message from Aubin Paul ----- I haven't been able to get this to happen consistently, but if I play an entire album in sequence, about half the songs stop after 10 seconds and skip to the next. The following appears in the logs: MPlayer.play(): Starting thread, cmd=--prio=-10 /usr/bin/mplayer -slave -ac mad, -nolirc -subfont-text-scale 3 -subfont-osd-s cale 3 -screenw 768 -screenh 576 -fs -vo null -ao oss:/dev/dsp -demuxer 17 "/media/Music/Armor for Sleep/Dream to Make Bel ieve/05 - My Town.mp3" sending exit command to app childapp: killing pid 32131 signal 2 childapp: Before wait(32131) force killing with signal 9 childapp: After wait() stderr: No data, stopping (pid 32133)! stdout: No data, stopping (pid 32132)! This doesn't happen consistently with any particular file, just completely randomly. I don't know why it's trying to send 'exit' to the app, since I didn't hit stop or anything. I'm a little out of my depth on this one, but I'm looking... It's not happening with video files, by the way.
