[Freevo-devel] Catching Freevo events in MPlayer

As the original author of BMOVL I'm taking another look at integrating 
it into Freevo. (that's the reason I wrote it! :))
My idea is to integrate it into osd.py so we can use the gui/* stuff. 
It's not that hard, there are just a few simple methods that have to be 
changed.. But how do I catch userevents while MPlayer is running??
