Hi,
Hi.
Before I put freevo-src-1.4-rc1 up for download, I'd like to confirm the naming convention for the record server and web server. Based on the info I gleaned from the Wiki, the naming convention would be:
/etc/freevo/boot_config /etc/rc.d/init.d /etc/rc.d/init.d/freevo /etc/rc.d/init.d/freevo_dep /etc/rc.d/init.d/freevo_recordserver <-- (or should it be freevo_record_server?) /etc/rc.d/init.d/freevo_webserver /usr/bin/freevo_recordserver_init <-- (or should it be freevo_record_server_init?) /usr/bin/freevo_webserver_init
All instances of the record server should be "recordserver" and not "record_server".
Currently the server files are not installed when I run python setup. I have to copy them manually. Is this going to change in the future?
The init.d and _init files for recordserver and webserver are completely optional as well, I guess it is up to you to include or omit them from the rpm package.
Also, is the binary runtime in freevo-1.4-rc1 a direct copy of freevo-1.3.4 runtime files? If so, I won't provide a new runtime package.
I am not sure if it is a direct copy, some files may be in a different spot. I would still like to update the runtime as well.
