I've noticed that for the longest time that a 'freevo stop' doesn't actually shutdown the OSD; it kills Freevo where it stands, but never clears the screen or anything.
I've fixed it in my 'freevo' shell script, but before committing it, I want to make sure that I'm not missing something here.
