I've worked quite hard theses few days to make a proper rpm of freevo
1.4 with some patches I gave on this ML.

This rpm is not using the freevo-runtime but the packages you've
installed on your system.

Great.

I'll published my packages tomorrow for MandrakeLinux Cooker and I'll
make some for 9.2.
With such packages, freevo is really easy to install, and dependencies
comes automatically with it :o)

Before you do that, maybe you should wait for Freevo 1.4.1. It's only a small bugfix release and will be out tomorrow. You can test it by downloading http://www.tzi.de/~dmeyer/freevo/freevo-1.4.1.tar.gz

If no bug is reported, this will be the release.

"urpmi freevo"

So your freevo is powered by the latest software you own !

That's rox, even more if you are using PLF (http://plf.zarb.org).

After you added the rpms, it would be nice if you could change the Mandrake howto on the WiKi.

I have already released freevo-1.4.0 rpms for Mandrake 9.2 a week ago
its available at http://rpm.nyvalls.se/graphics9.2.html
I will update them to 1.4.1 today
