I have been working on getting xmms support back in and even have it in my WIP in CVS. The problem i am having is that I can't use childapp2 to integrate it since The ReadThreads never get used and thus we never get to update the elapsed time display. After that i need to be able to get to the next song. It is in my CVS WIP as fxmms.py. You need to install PyXMMS. It can play an mp3 but it really doesn't work that well. I hope to get back to it soon.
