I can't reproduce it with current cvs. I have a video foo.avi is my video dir. No write permissing. In /home/dmeyer/.freevo/vfs/<dir> I have bar.fxd containing a relative like to dummy.jpg. dummy.jpg is in the same dir as bar.fxd. bar.fxd conatins foo.avi as file, but foo.avi is in the normal dir and the fxd isn't. I see no foo.avi, only the fxd item covering the video with dummy.jpg as cover.
