Here is what I had to add to my local_conf.py to make xbox remote working (I have 2
mapped to PAUSE and 0 mapped to EXIT for xbox driver do not generate ASCII codes for
VCR controls yet)...

KEYMAP=DVD_REMOTE_KEYMAP
This KEYMAP would control freevo and mplayer, however if you are using xine, you would
need to remap keys that control xine in configuration file in ~/.xine/ directory

like the to know the best way to go about this since I have never worked
with Python. If anyone has done this in the past or is familiar with the
