No. If you also have an old analog card, _you_ have to check what to record on vdr and what with the analog card. Using the freevo recordserver in the middle, we can solve that by given vdr only what it can record. I like to play on the same host with additional apps. My freevo machine is also my working machine. I on;y want to start vdr when I need it.
