Hi,
As setup_freevo.py is done now, mplayer is a hard require although freevo is able to run without it if you have xine installed instead.
Would it be possible to change this behavior and request either mplayer or either xine ?
The same apply to all programs that are needed by any group of apps (tvtime/xawtv for watching tv, xine/mplayer/xmms for listening to music, snes/xmame/... for playing games, etc...)
On slightly different register, check_program in setup_freevo.py has still references to runtime, even if the runtime package is deprecated, if I'm not mistaken.
